Flashcards

The same deck of questions, either way round: spoken, with nothing to press because your hands are busy — or a card at a time, turned over with a tap.

Microphone model: Not listening — timed gap.

How it asks

It asks out loud, you answer out loud, and there is nothing to press.

Sharps and flats

Name the key

A diminished seventh repeats every minor third, so there are only three of them in all of music and each answers to four names: C = E♭ = A = G♭, F = A♭ = D = B, B♭ = G = E = D♭. Same four notes, spelled from wherever you were asked.

A flat key is answered in flats, so some of these want a double flat. It is printed with the name you would say in front of it — A (B♭♭) — and either one is marked right.

Keys

Ticked is asked about, and remembered. Greyed until its scale level is open.
